PBR was at Crooked Creek Park in Indian Trail, NC on Thursday November 11th for a workout with players from the Mission Baseball organization.  The workout started with pitchers throwing a controlled bullpen.  Position players then ran a laser timed 60, followed by multiple rounds of BP and a defensive workout.

QUICK HITTERS - POSITION PLAYERS

Tristan Sneed, RHP, York Prep (SC), 2025 -- Youthful frame with plenty of maturation still ahead.  Stands 5-foot-8, 130 pounds.  Early to the top with a medium arm swing and over-the-top slot.  Average arm speed for the age.  Solid direction.  Showed feel for 3 pitches.  Fastball at 72-74.  Setup for growth as the frame adds strength.

Max Luzarraga, RHP, Weddington HS, 2025 -- Thin and lanky at 5-foot-9, 140 pounds.  Level through his delivery with solid direction.  Medium arm action, loading the scapular with some athleticism as he works to a high-3/4 slot.  Average to better than average arm speed.  Fastball at 71-74.  Loose through the release.  Run out of the hand on the fastball.  Breaking ball has late 11/5 tilt that should grow to give hitters issues as he matures.

Ryan Virgilio, RHP, Cuthbertson HS, 2026 -- Still a lot of maturation ahead as he stands 5-foot-5, 128 pounds.  Fastball plays straight at 67-70.  Early, downer breaking ball peaked at 57.  Simple delivery that is fighting for consistent rhythm.  Some natural uphill leverage through the shoulders as the arm works with some length to an over-the-top release.
