Quick Hitters: Preseason All State East - Upperclassmen Position Players

Matt Payne
Director of Scouting, PBR of NC

On Saturday February 4th PBR of North Carolina hosted its third of four Preseason all State Events at Next Level Training Center in Greenville, NC. The Preseason All State Events have become the premier winter event in NC featuring some of the top talent from across the state. The events feature players from the 2023-2026 grad classes.

The event began with catchers going through a defensive evaluation. After the catchers, pitchers threw a controlled bullpen with Trackman collecting advanced analytics. Following the pitchers, position players ran a laser timed 30 and then took live BP in the open area which allowed players and scouts to see ball flight, Trackman was also used to collect ball flight data. The event concluded with infielders and outfielders going through a defensive evaluation.

Below we begin our breakdown of the players in attendance. Look for more information to follow in the coming days.
