As spring approaches, players are back on the field and coaches are grinding through practice plans and preparation.  Fields are beginning to get into primed shape, having been edged, overseeded, and possibly re-graded.  One final “right of passage” prior to any spring is the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association (NCBCA) annual convention.

This year the convention is taking place on Friday and Saturday, December 15-16, 2017 in Greensboro, NC.  Each year, the convention allows coaches from across North Carolina, regardless of the level or experience, to come together, share ideas and learn from their peers.  The convention also allows the NCBCA to honor coaches that have hit milestones in their careers, as well as those that have won state championships in the past year. 

As we get ready for this spring, it is not too late to join the fun at this year’s NCBCA Annual Convention.

Expected Schedule and Speakers for the Convention

Friday’s speakers include Mike Fox (Head Coach, UNC), Anderw Bartman (ABCA), and Jeremy Sheetinger (ABCA). 

Friday’s schedule includes the Hall of Fame & Awards Banquet, as well as the Coaches Social

Saturday’s speakers include Chris Ball (Turf Management), Ben Hall (Head Coach, NC A&T), and Scott Foxhall (Pitching Coach, NC State).
