Tri-State Arsenal Underclass Scout Day: Quick Hitters-Position Players

Matt Payne
Director of Scouting, PBR of NC

PBR was on hand in Benson, NC at Vyas Community Park on Saturday March, 13th for a scout day with the Tri-State Arsenal Underclass. The event featured 26 players from the 2024 and 2025 grad classes with most of the kids coming from the central to eastern part of the state.

Position players got the day started going through their pro-style workout. Players ran a laser timed 60, followed by an offensive evaluation and defensive evaluation.  During live BP, TrackMan was able to gather ball flight information off the bat.  After the pro-style workout, pitchers threw a controlled bullpen with Trackman gathering ball flight data.
