Updated PBR Draft 100 Flips Adams & White

With the MLB Draft four weeks away, the PBR staff in North Carolina and across the country is working to fill out reports and follow prospects who may be selected.  Three North Carolina HS prospects have made moves up the draft board this spring with Jordyn Adams (OF, Green Hope HS), Owen White (RHP, Carson HS), and Justin Jarvis (RHP, Lake Norman HS) each in the PBR HS Draft 100.

Owen White has been very consistent this spring, impressing with stuff and command.  The athleticism should project into continued growth and all of this has moved White up the list throughout the spring.   Justin Jarvis was a name to follow enter the spring and he has taken advantage of the opportunity when evaluators have shown up to see Lake Norman.  He has touched 93 for PBR this spring, but the biggest factors have been an increased feel for the strike zone and the ability to hold his velocity as his pitch count rises.  In a start in late March, Jarvis held 91-92 into the 7th.

Adams has seen his stock vault this spring after a huge week at USA Baseball’s National High School Invitational.  Green Hope HS represented North Carolina, playing against some of the top high school teams from across the country.
