Apex Friendship and Leesville Road Battle to 3-3 Draw

Apex Friendship High School – February 24, 2025

A tightly contested pitching duel between Apex Friendship and Leesville Road resulted in a 3-3 tie after seven innings, as darkness prevented further play. Both starting pitchers dominated early, with Owen Cirasole (Apex Friendship) allowing just four hits and striking out six in five scoreless innings, while Jack Fields (Leesville Road) was nearly untouchable, allowing no hits, no walks, and striking out nine over five frames.

Neither team was able to break through offensively during the first five innings as Cirasole and Fields kept hitters in check. Apex Friendship managed to push across three runs late, but Leesville Road responded to even the score before the game was called after seven innings.
