Fall Review: Top Hitters from Fall Events

Prep Baseball hosted 4 events and ran 6 scout days in the Fall season. The events allow Prep Baseball Scouts to be around the players of North Carolina, gathering information, stats, and analytics at each event. Players also receive a full video from their workout, hosted on their Prep Baseball profile page. As we look back at the fall, we are going to break down some of the key analytics gathered at each event, giving coaches, players, scouts, and fans a chance to see which players shined in the fall.
We start our Fall Review with a look at the hitters who performed at a high level. Today we start with the exit velocity, giving scouts a feel for a player's ability to create damage, looking at both the maximum output, as well as the average for players. The max exit velocity can lend itself to a grade for each player's power tool while the average exit velocity gives scouts a feel for the barrel feel and consistency in a swing.
