Long and lanky, the talented LHP jumped on the board in a big way at the 2024 Preseason All-State, earning a second look during the High School Season.  Shortly after the spring season, his performance at the Charlotte Baseball Academy Scout Day and the Prep Baseball NPI earned his invite to the Future Games as a two-way player.  Engle continued to perform at a high level for Team NC, committing to Georgia Tech shortly after the Future Games.

Tyce Thompson C / 1B / South Central, NC / 2027

Thompson had an electric performance at the Preseason All-State event, vaulting his prospect into the upper tier of the 2027 Rankings in NC, and the Prep Baseball Overall Rankings.  Thompson followed that up with a big spring, playing for a 3A State Championship with South Central HS in his Freshman year.  His exploits on the field earned him an invite to join Team NC for the inaugural East Coast Super Sophomore Games.  Unable to attend, Thompson did get back on the radar with an explosive workout at the SBA Coastal Scout Day in the fall, again drawing a lot of attention to his profile.

Perry Hargett SS / OF / Metrolina Christian , NC / 2024

The No. 1 ranking in a class can come with a target each time a prospect attends an event or plays in a game.  Hargett shine with that attention throughout much of his JR and SR year.  Now playing at the University of North Carolina, Hargett performed time in and time out on a big stage. 2024 kicked off with Hargett at the Prep Baseball Super60 in Chicago, the nations top pre-season draft event.  The next weekend he performed for 20 NC Area Scouts at the Prep Baseball NC ProCase.  The spring season saw his Metrolina Christian Academy ranked in the top 2 in the Prep Baseball Power 25 for much of the year, capping the year off with a dramatice State Championship win.

No. 16 Most Viewed Profile of 2024

Briggs McKenzie LHP / OF / Corinth Holders, NC / 2025

McKenzie has long been a name to know in NC, vaulting to the top spot in the state rankings entering his SO year.  A bit of down year as his body grew and adjusted, along with a very deep 2025 talent pool, saw McKenzie's status fall a bit.  2025 gave McKenzie the opportunity to coming roaring back to a tier 1 prospect status.  The spring season built, with reports coming out that he was showing signs of taking another jump.  The end of the summer saw him produce at the East Coast Pro Showcase with a ton of projection left in the frame.  That outing earned him an invite to the Prep Baseball All-American game in Miami, and again, McKenzie simply dazzled.  The LSU commit will have some big decisions to make as he works through the spring season and into the summer of 2025.
