On Saturday, February 1st, Prep Baseball NC will host the first of three Preseason All-State events. Now in its eighth year, the Preseason All-State has established itself as a premier showcase for North Carolina's top high school baseball talent.

With the high school baseball season set to begin in just a few weeks, players have dedicated the past several months to strength and agility training. The Preseason All-State events are designed for athletes identified by Prep Baseball scouts as potential collegiate or professional prospects. These showcases provide an opportunity for players to highlight their offseason progress through a full pro-style workout at one of three outstanding venues.

This year’s events will feature over 200 of the top players in the state. The first event, on Saturday, February 1st, will take place at Next Level Training in Greenville, NC. On Sunday, February 2nd, Prep Baseball will travel to Arena Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. The third and final Preseason All-State event will be held at Diamond Xtreme in Kernersville, NC. Each of these facilities offers ample space to simulate a full infield, while also providing an environment where hitters can track ball flight during batting practice.

As we prepare for one of North Carolina’s most highly anticipated baseball events, we take a moment to reflect on some of the standout performances from the past eight years.
