2025 Nebraska High School Team Previews, Volume V

Prep Baseball Nebraska strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

"Really encouraged by our roster, we have some young guys that now have a year or two under their belts. We’re looking to build off of a productive Summer. Have to replace some offense, but we’ll look to get that from our returners adding some production. Some stability on the mound will go a long ways toward getting us into potential district final."

"This team brings back lots of experience and several players from last year's team. The ceiling for this team will be determined by their ability to come together as a team and replace the player leadership lost from graduating players."

MOUNT MICHAEL KNIGHTS

Coach's Comment:
"The Mount Michael Knights enter the 2025 season looking to build on last year’s state runner-up finish. The team will need to fill key roles after losing 11 seniors from last season and 7 seniors from the American Legion squad that finished third last summer. A strong senior class and several promising sophomores are expected to compete for spots and contribute this season. The Knights return two standout starting pitchers but will focus on developing depth on the mound as the season progresses."

"The 2025 Pius X Thunderbolts look to continue their success that was found during the spring and summer of 2024. Both JV and Varsity teams finished the summer legion season with a 34-14 record. Key returning players should assist the varsity team in having a successful 2025 season."

BENNINGTON BADGERS

"Our team returns several players with varsity experience. Our juniors and sophomores have looked really good in preseason. There will be lots of competition for starting positions on our team. We have a good balance of speed and power. We also will have lots of different options on the mound.  Our depth chart will be strong."
