2025 Nebraska High School Team Previews, Volume VIII

Prep Baseball Nebraska strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

FREMONT TIGERS

"We have a really good core group of established starters returning this year and will look to mix in a good group of underclassman. Look for pitching and defense to be a strength."

LINCOLN CHRISTIAN CRUSADERS

"We need to replace a couple of pitchers, but we have the nucleus back from a team last season that did some pretty great things. We will be alright if we execute the little things and find a couple pitchers to take over some key roles on our pitching staff."

SOUTH SIOUX CITY CARDINALS

NORTH PLATTE BULLDOGS

"2nd year of the program and first in Class A. We lost one starter from a District Runner Up team and three starters from a state-qualifying Legion team. We have a good balance of a big senior class and underclassmen who have played in big games either last school year or over the summer. We have high goals for this season and look forward to competing at the highest level."

LINCOLN LUTHERAN WARRIORS

"The players are excited and have put in a tremendous amount of work from last summer until now. They’re highly motivated to make a return trip to the state tournament, something that hasn’t been done at Waverly in 12 years. We recognize that the EMC conference is a premier baseball conference, with state tournament-caliber teams every night. Additionally, we know that Class B baseball will be extremely competitive this year, so each game will be an excellent opportunity to compete. Our players have continued to work hard to become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field. As a program, we’re proud to have earned a 3.44 GPA, with 46 players achieving over a 3.0 and 31 making the honor roll."

BLAIR BEARS

Head Coach: John Roan (5 seasons, 39-36)
