2025 Prep Baseball Nebraska Preseason All-State: Event Preview

Council Bluffs, Iowa - On Sunday, March 2nd, Prep Baseball travels to Iowa Western’s Marshall Wellness Center to host the Prep Baseball Nebraska All-State event. This invite-only event will feature over 170 prospects from the class of 2026 through 2028s, with 140 ranked players with the number 1 prospect from each class. This collection of players will include plenty of fresh faces as well as returning faces.

EVENT HISTORY

Last year's All-State saw over 150 players come through the doors of Marshall Wellness Center with multiple notable performances.

BRADEN CAITO | 2026 | RHP | NEBRASKA COMMIT

Caito showcased effortless velocity, running his fastball up to 91.7 MPH—the highest in-event velocity recorded at the Preseason All-State. His standout performance earned him a spot on Team Midwest at the 2024 Future Games, and he later committed to the University of Nebraska.

CORDELL CLINKINGBEARD | 2026 | C/RHP | NEBRASKA COMMIT

Clinkingbeard led all hitters at the Preseason All-State with a max exit velocity of 101.5 MPH, a strong testament to his powerful swing. On the mound, the right-hander topped out at 88.1 MPH. His impressive two-way abilities earned him a Future Games invitation and a commitment to the University of Nebraska.

SAMUEL KIDD | 2025 | C | MIDDLEBURY COMMIT

The Millard West catcher delivered a solid all-around performance, recording a 93.3 MPH exit velocity, a 7.21 60-yard dash, and a 79 MPH arm with a 1.93 pop time. Kidd later attended the Senior Future Games before committing to Middlebury.
