Through a full winter and spring season packed with events and competition; the PBR Nebraska Class of 2022 Rankings has been updated  Overall, the Nebraska 2022 class is extremely deep with a combination of present committed players, high-end uncommitted prospects, and late-bloomers who have made significant jumps over the few months. Top 15 - Risers

 

CF Cole Eaton - Elkhorn South (Tennessee) 6th - 3rd - The ultra athletic Eaton impressed with a smooth quick bat at the plate and patrolling center field with ease this spring.  Having a 6.55 60, 96.8 Exit velo and 100 mph from the OF he doesn't lack tools at his disposal.

 

SS Joe Connolly - Omaha Skutt (Iowa) 23rd - 14th- Another very athletic prospect in the 2023 class boosting a 6.58 60.  The Hawkeye commit hit .427 ,8 doubles and 16 stolen bases this spring for the Skyhawks.

 

16-34 - Risers

LHP Conlin Grady - Millard South (Uncommitted) 24th-19th - The Lefty was the ace for the state finalist Millard south Patriots and boy did he pitch like it this year striking out 48 over 43.2IP making him one of the top uncommitted LHP in the 2023 class

 

OF Alex Draper - Platteview (Uncommitted) 43rd-30th - The left handed hitting OF hit .385 this spring with 5 triples for the trojans adding in 15 stolen bases.

 

35-50 - NewComers

SS Jackson Steele - Bellevue West (Uncommitted) 35th - The switch hitting Steele impressed at the PBR NE Elite 50 event barreling up multiple balls from both sides of the plate and showing smooth defense up the middle.

 

RHP Cade Bridges Ashland-Greenwood (Uncommitted) 45th - Bridges impressed at the PBR NE Elite 50 and Summer ID with a FB up to 84.4.  A loose arm action with a repeatable delivery and a 74.2 breaking ball with some depth and feel
