PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Dalton: I chose Missouri because it felt like home when I visited. I felt like it was the right fit for me between the coaching staff and the opportunity to compete at the highest level in college baseball.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

Dalton: Coach Bieser first saw me at the PBR Super 17 in Kansas City and he called me shortly after the tournament ended and we stayed in touch throughout the summer before setting up a visit in early August.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Dalton: There were a lot of key factors that put Mizzou on the top of my list but the biggest one was the fact that I felt wanted and I felt like Mizzou was the best place for me to develop as a man and as a ball-player.
PBR: When do you report to school? What are you doing this summer to prepare for your first fall
Dalton: I reported to campus on July 3rd to take a couple classes and started getting accumulated to the lifting program. I played a few tournaments in June to get reps but the biggest thing for me this summer was getting to campus early to get used to the workload for the fall.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Dalton: My dad has helped the most to get to this point in my career. He has been through it all from the very beginning and I would not be where I am without him.
PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Dalton: I was not completely sure what to expect with the recruiting process. It did start a little bit later than I expected and the hardest part was getting it started. The recruiting process was definitely not easy. I was a late developer and did not get many big looks until the summer going into my senior year so it was hard for me to get my name out to the places where I wanted to be seen. But in the end I am exactly where I wanted to be.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

DaltonMy favorite baseball moment has been tying the Westside single season doubles record in the first round of the state tournament under the lights at Werner Park and looking up to see a big smile on my dad's face.
PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Dalton: The best baseball player I have competed against has probably been Cam Collier so far.
