Prep Baseball Nebraska Recruitment Overview: Class of 2025

As we turn the page from the 2024 calendar year, we look back at the members of the class of 2025 who made their college commitments. In Nebraska, 104 players announced their commitments to schools – an impressive 21% increase over the Class of 2024 at the same point last year.
While many players have already intended to play at the next level, there remain many uncommitted players from the 2025 class on the board.

NEBRASKA'S TOP 25
Within the Top 25 of the Class of 2025, 15 players have made commitments to Division 1 programs. At the top, Danny Wallace made his commitment to Oklahoma State. In the Top 10, Jace Ziola, Jeter Worthley, Drew Grego, Noah Gartner, Joey Senstock and Cal Cooper committed to Nebraska. Overall, Huskers landed seven commits in the Top 25 followed by Iowa Western (6).
NCAA DIVISION I
Nineteen players made their commitments to Division I programs, led by Nebraska’s seven commits. Both Creighton and South Dakota State had two commits each.
NCAA DIVISION II
There were 17 commitments to Division II programs. Five committed to Northwest Missouri State and four commits to Wayne State and Augustana (SD).
NCAA DIVISION III
There were seven Division III commits. Simpson College (IA) landed three of those commits.
NJCAA
Forty-five prospects committed to the JUCO route. Iowa Western has eight commits, followed by Northeast at seven. Cloud County and Iowa Lakes each have five.
NAIA
There are 19 commitments to NAIA programs with York University’s five commits leading the pack.
