We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2022 Scout Day: Mass Hurricanes. This was a great opportunity for 2023-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2022 Scout Day: Mass Hurricanes - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Sabestien Reis - Reis showed a quick bat and some juice to the pull side.
- Drew Herlin - Herlin is a good looking young hitter. The hands are really quick.
- Patrick Kiernan - Kiernan has a quick bat. The ball jumps off his bat.
- Tommy Mahoney - Mahoney is a middle-schooler with some real thump in his bat. He has a chance to really swing it!
THE ARMS
- Dawson Bryce - Bryce is a projectable right-hander with a quick arm. The fastball has life in the mid 80’s and the secondary stuff is developed.
- Aiden Cardoza - Cardoza is a talented left-hander. The fastball sits in the low 80’s with late sink.
- Danny Powers - Powers uses a high slot that produces a big 12/6 curveball and sink on a low 80’s fastball.
THE DEFENDERS
- Danny Powers - Powers is an athletic outfielder with a quick arm.
- Dawson Bryce - Bryce moves well in the infield. The hands work and the arm plays.
- Patrick Kiernan - Kiernan is an athletic, versatile prospect. His skills behind the plate are polished, with a strong arm. In the infield, he moves well and shows good hands.
THE RUNNERS
- Ryan Lemay - Lemay is a light-footed middle infielder who moves well.
- Damon Frenette - Frenette is a versatile athlete. He moves well in the infield and the foot-speed plays in the outfield.
- Dawson Bryce - Bryce is an athletic two-way prospect that can really run.
