We would like to thank all who participated, we enjoy bringing you knowledge and expertise on players and programs in your area.

Next week, we will be answering questions on either Tuesday or Wednesday, stay tuned.

Six of the top questions from the Ask.FM Q&A session on December 3rd

How long do you think a pitcher should shut it down for the offseason?

PBR: Each pitcher should shut themselves down for 6-8 weeks in a yearly cycle. Usually, the best time to recover is in the months of November and December.

What qualities do coaches look for in centerfielders?

PBR: For a Centerfielder, they need the ability to run and track down fly balls. At the plate, the more you can run the better, ideally, you would like your centerfielder to be a table setter.

How do I go to the Area Code Games?

PBR: Area Code Games, you need to get an invite to the tryout, show well and then get a call back. The Area Codes is an awesome event. It's in Long Beach and the best players in the US are there.

Do teams send out a lot of medical questionnaires? How much does it mean if you get one? Will they definitely come see you?

PBR: If they are sending you medical questionnaires, their interest is real. You can expect to see them in the springtime.

What is more important between the relationship with the coaches and the school itself?

PBR: The relationship you have with the coach that is going to coach you. So if you are a pitcher, you need to be comfortable with the pitching coach. If a hitter, you need to get along well with the hitting guy.

With the cost of travel, do you think it is appropriate to ask for an offer before a visit, especially if there have been a few months of communication?

PBR: I think it is alright to ask if they are going to offer on the visit. Also, how much of a priority the player is to the recruiting class, you should be able to gauge it off of that.
