Five picks in the first 10 rounds shows the talent that the Northeast has. The New England Region saw 19 home prospects hear their names called during the 1st year amateur draft in 2016.

Being drafted by a MLB organization is a dream of all athletes that put on a glove, throw a ball or lace up their cleats and in 2016, the New England Region saw 19 former High School prospects dreams met, by being drafted in the 2016 First Year MLB Draft.
