The Year In Review - 2021

Each of us here at PBR New England want to thank you for making 2021 the best year yet. We look forward to continuing to bring the best baseball coverage. Happy Holidays to all!

"2021 was again a successful campaign for PBR New England. Although the virus has changed many things throughout society we have pushed forward to make sure our youth thrives with normalcy.  We certainly are grateful to all the players and parents throughout New England. Being able to see all the players back out playing with somewhat regularity was great. We were able to go back to LakePoint in Georgia, which was a huge success. We look forward to combing the New England area and seeing the development of all the basebal players."- Dennis Healy, New England Co-Director of Scouting

"2021 was another monster year for PBR New England, multiple scout days from all levels of travel ball to regional/national teams, to top prospect games. Another successful future game run for both Team Mass and Team CT/RI.  PBR NE scouts are uncovering more and more talent each year as we continue to aid in the college recruiting process for both the player/parent and to college coaches." - Trevor Brown, New England Co-Director of Scouting

"I feel with the relationships we've made and the experiences I had personally throughout these past 12 months, that 2021 was a banner year for PBR New England. Being able to help high school athletes reach their dreams of playing at the next level while building personal relationships is something I enjoy daily. Thank you very much to the athletes, parents, coaches and all in the great state of Michigan and have a great holiday season."- Dylan Hefflinger, PBR New England Editor in Chief/Scout

"The opportunity to talk to so many quality players from different parts of North America is a joy to me. Listening to them tell about their baseball journey, their dreams to continue playing the game as long as they can and the hard work that goes with it brings an appreciation of the commitment it takes to play on the college level and beyond. So many times when I have conversations with these players for PBR articles, the topic includes family, the values taught at home and how that helped them in their quest to play baseball at the highest level possible. I look forward to hearing more players tell their story and what it takes to succeed as they get ready to take the next step in their lives." - Bruce Hefflinger, PBR New England Senior Writer

"We are excited about the relationships we built and the new opportunities we helped to provide for players and parents in 2021. It is our hope that 2022 will not only build on those initiatives but wholeheartedly continue to expand our commitment to providing opportunities for athletes all over New England. Our entire staff wants to thank everyone involved in making this past year a success and we look forward to seeing you in the coming year." - Steve Alhona, PBR New England Scout
