Updated Class of 2023 Player Rankings (March)

The group of 2023 prospects in New England is outstanding. As PBR has grown we are fortunate enough to see a number of younger players. The ability to watch their development is remarkable. The No. 1 ranked player in New England is also the No. 1 ranked player in the country. However, he is not the only one with an ultra bright future. See below as we list as a number of very good 2023 prospects from the New England region.

Below we will take a look at “Who Is At The Top”, The Sleepers To Follow”, "The Newcomers", "Guys To See" and the top uncommitted prospects by position.

Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the 2023 Player Rankings.

WHO'S AT THE TOP?

• Thomas White (Video), the top left-handed pitcher in the country. The long and lanky frame is special to say the least. 
• Hiro Wyatt, committed to Duke, another young promising prospect. 
• Eisig Chin, the left-handed hitting outfielder has an excellent swing and shows good foot speed. 
• Andrew Manning, the left-handed hitting outfielder has gotten stronger and shows plus hand speed at the dish.
• Cameron Morrison, right-handed hitting catcher is advanced at an early age.
• Joey Tonotti, a right-handed pitcher, low to mid 80’s fastball, with a harder slider, showing promise as a hitter as well.

THE SLEEPERS TO FOLLOW

• Scott Brown (Video), an undersized left-handed hitting outfielder displayed an excellent skill set. He is a plus runner with plus hand speed with the bat. 
• Cole Mascott, big and physical right-handed pitcher. He recently showed extremely well as his development is trending up as he matures in age. 
• Cameron Grindle is a polished right-handed with a ton of upside on the bump. 
• Alex Clemmey, quick armed left-hander with his best days in front of him. 
• Fletcher Waterman , right-handed hitting catch and throw guy. The ability to catch and throw is already present.
• Sean Zaslaw, excellent all-around athlete as he can do many things on the field.
• Alfred Mucciarone is a right-hander who caught my eye a ways back. He recently threw at the Preseason All State and his development is coming along very nicely. 
• James Raidt, a long and loose right-handed pitcher, has a feel for the curveball. 
• Michael Iannazzo, a left-handed hitting middle infielder, swings it well, and can run.

NEWCOMERS

• Peter Ward (Video), an advanced player as he swings the bat and shows a solid skill set behind the dish. 
• Bryan Cahill, left-handed hitting middle infielder. I liked the way he swung the bat.
• Thomas Rupp, big and long right-handed hitting first baseman. The potential is solid as he is a big dude.
• Scott Brown, left-handed hitting outfielder who runs and shows plus hand speed with the bat.
• Fletcher Waterman, right-handed hitting catcher with a ton of potential behind the plate. 
• Dominic Gabardi, athletic right-handed hitting outfielder with an advanced skill set.

GUYS TO SEE:

MASSACHUSETTS

• Thomas White, the best pitching prospect in the country for the class of 2023. 
• Andrew Manning (Video), left-handed hitting outfielder with an advanced skill set. 
• Eisig Chin, left-handed hitter who swings the bat and runs well. High level player
• Cameron Morrison right-handed hitting catcher, the skill set is legit behind the plate. 
• Colin Dowdle, right-handed pitcher who is already in the mid 80’s with spin. 
• Peter Ward, physically gifted player who has excellent versatility. 
• Sean Zaslaw, athletic player with good foot speed and a feel for his swing. The arm is legit as well.
• Antonio Morales, versatile left-handed hitting catcher and infielder. He is a legit prospect. 
• Tyler Normandie, corner infielder, the arm and bat are very advanced at an early age. 
• Brendan Sencaj, athletic right-handed hitter who swings the bat with authority.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

• Fletcher Waterman (Video), catch and throw prospect right now. 
• Sean Kuhlhoff, athletic middle infielder and pitcher. The feel for the game is good. 
• George Young, left-handed pitcher with a solid 2 pitch mix. The frame leans to be a good left-handed pitching prospect. 
• Tucker Boys, solid right-handed pitching prospect, good follow in the coming years. 
• Elliot Miles, athletic middle infielder who shows excellent range and feel for the bat.  
• Jacob Fredericks, physical right-handed hitting corner infielder. Keep an eye on the bat.

VERMONT

• Evan LaMothe (Video), young player who showed well across the board at a recent workout. 
• Nic Moran, quick arm right-hander with a ton of potential as the arm is quick and clean.

MAINE

• Joshua Kopetski (Video), young left-handed arm with a ton of potential as he keeps working at his game.
• Mason Collins, right-handed hitting catcher with an advanced skill set behind the dish. 
• Aaron Kiss, young right-hander with potential on the bump. 
• Brayden Williams, shows plus hand speed with the bat as he leans on it.

CONNECTICUT

• Joey Tonotti (Video), a fast arm right-handed pitcher, with a plus slider.
• James Raidt, a long and loose right-hander, will be an upper 80’s before too long. 
• Michael Iannazzo, a left-handed hitting middle infielder, who can run, feel for the barrel.
• Will Scott, another right-handed pitcher, low 80’s fastball, big upside, his brother is the top in the class of 2022. 
• Gabriel Tirado, a left-handed hitting catcher, has major juice in the hands.

RHODE ISLAND

• Alex Clemmey, smooth two-way guy, feel for all three off the mound.
• Vincent Purcell (Video), a clean arm right-handed pitcher, look for the velocity to jump here soon.
