Who Is At The Top

We are excited to announce the first ranking for the class of 2028. We have a short list of 20 players and in the coming months the list will grow. The class of 2028 is a talented one across the New England Region.

  • Owen Burnes, the top ranked player is a left-hander who shows ability on the mound and at the dish. The fastball is up to 87 mph.
  • Rory Funke, coming in at the #2 spot is a two sport athlete, the left-handed pitcher and hitter is a tremendous athlete. The fastball is mid 80’s.
  • Artie McCormack, quick twitch left-handed hitting catcher. The foot speed is above average and the bat is advanced at an early age. Artie is the 3rd ranked prospect.
  • Gavin Halovatch, athletic left-handed hitting middle infielder. Shows well on the bump, up to 82 mph. He is our 4th ranked prospect.
  • Chris Bucciero, in the 5 spot, strong left-handed hitting outfielder. His hands are quick and free with the barrel.

Others To Keep An Eye On

  • Eddie Ritchie, good looking young catcher with a good feel for the barrel at the dish.
  • Anthony Dufour, young right-hander with a bright future on the mound.
  • Jackson Salmieri, long and lengthy, projectable RHP, big future.
  • Blake Huston, A LHH, plus pop, super athletic and long frame.
  • Lucas Mazzaro, A right-handed pitcher, low mid 80’s fastball, with an advanced feel for secondary stuff.
