Dan Valerio Named to Scouting Staff for Spring 2023 Season

We at the Prep Baseball Report New Jersey are excited to announce the addition of Dan Valerio to the scouting staff for the spring 2023 season. Read up on Dan's background below.

Valerio, a product of Eatontown, New Jersey and Monmouth Regional High School has a decorated past in baseball. After high school, Valerio chose the JUCO route at Rowan-Gloucester CC where he was twice named All-Conference. After RCGC, Valerio chose to attend Southeastern University in Florida, an NAIA school. Valerio was named NAIA All-American and was a 2018 NAIA World Series Champion with Southeastern. Valerio amassed 42 home runs in his college career and was named to the Golden Spikes watchlist, which lists the top players in the country as national Player of the Year candidates. Valerio also spent a summer playing in the Cape Code League with the Chatham Angelers.

After college, Valerio played Professional Baseball with the Eastside Diamondhoppers, Windy City Thunderbolts, and Somerset Patriots.

Valerio currently resides in the Jersey Shore area and helps with developing ball players of all ages.
