Recruiting Trail: Catching Up with UPenn commit '18 RHP Kevin Eaise (St. Augustine Prep HS, NJ)

The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for sophomore and select freshmen prospects. This year well over 150 colleges from all over the country were in attendance. The Prep Baseball Report services are subscribed by more than 700 colleges and pro scouts.
Our series highlights the players who attended the PBR Future Games in Indiana. We have included the players scouting report, statistics, video of their performance, and their Recruiting Radar segment to see where each player is at in the recruiting process.
The 2016 event was the first opportunity for players from New Jersey to attend the PBR Future Games and perform as a group. Many of the player's recruiting interest has exploded since the event; with many of them having multiple scholarship offers on the table.

PBR Future Games (August 4-6, 2016)
Eaise is an athletic and projectable 6-foot-1 195-pounds. Did not participate in the skills portion of the event, but did hit in gameplay. Had two doubles and multiple loud line drive outs. Flat bat, slight arm bar with swing. Aggressive torque in hips and quick hands through the zone. Pitching- Eaise brings a strong solid build standing 6-foot-1, 195-pounds to the mound working from a smooth, controlled delivery. Fastball jumped at 85-87 from a deeper arm-action with quick hand-speed. Curveball sat 72-74 mph with tight 11/5 shape. Command of both pitches was above average today.
