Notes

The high octane arms of Nazier Mule and Caden Dana have been stalworts at the top of the 2022 rankings for several updates. Both have gotten their fastballs up to the mid-90s. Dana, most notably, led Don Bosco Prep to a victory over previously unbeaten Buford (GA) and potential first rounder Dylan Lesko at the annual National High School Invitational (NHSI) hosted by USA Baseball in Cary, North Carolina.

Chris Maldonado, Max Martin, and Zach Crotchfelt are all getting off to solid spring seasons after performing well at the annual Super 60 Professional Showcase in February.

The biggest 'surprise' has been the resurgence of Virginia recruit LHP Donovan Zsak (St. Joe's Metuchen). The 6-foot-3 lefty was up to 95 mph early on this spring and flashed some ability for a slurvy breaking ball as well.

Central Florida commit RHP Cam Leiter (Central Regional) has emerged as a dark horse candidate draft prospect. The lanky, athletic right hander has been up to 92 early on this season and has plenty left in the tank to fill out.
