The 2025 Nevada High School baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams throughout the Silver State.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons by raising the 2025 NIAA State Championship trophy, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams throughout Nevada and will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Top 10 Rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

The Eagles come off a second place finish in the Class 3A South - Mountain league and have their sites set on making another deep playoff run behind the senior leadership of Miles Community College recruit, Gavin Flake, and Uncommitted utility player, Steve Uszynski. Both of those players will play a major role on both sides of the ball and are expected to be the arms called upon in big games this Spring. Uncommitted Junior, Ethan Wagstaff, is going to be a staple in the Eagles batting order as he comes off an impressive sophomore year at the plate where he hit .348 with 19 RBI's and we project those numbers to only conitnue to trend in 2025. 

The youth movement that is coming through the Boulder City program is going to be one to watch for the next few years with six Class of 2027 players set to make an impact in the Eagles lineup this Spring. Robinson, Crine, Aten, Teeples, Lewis and Daley are all projected to be impact type players this year and will be one to watch over the next few years as this is program on the rise. Keep an eye on BC as a program that could make some serious noise this Spring.
