The 2025 Nevada High School baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams throughout the Silver State.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons by raising the 2025 NIAA State Championship trophy, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams throughout Nevada and will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Top 10 Rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

This Douglas program out of Minden, Nevada continues to churn out impressive talent with a pair of committed seniors in Jeffrey Peters (College of Southern Nevada) and Duncan DeLange (Butte College), who are set to be the catalyst of this group on both sides of the ball. Coming off a 19-10 season, this is a group that is primed for a big Spring. 

Along with their seniors, a pair of sophomore standouts from the Reno Preseason ID, in Blaine Bilderback and Aiden Tarlo, are highlighted as the Top Newcomers and we project them to make an immediate impact in the heart of the Tigers order as well as Bilderback's ability on the mound that will be the "one, two punch" with DeLange.

This is a program that has been knocking on the door for the last few years and this could be their year for a deep playoff run behind their talented core.
