The 2025 Nevada High School baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams throughout the Silver State.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons by raising the 2025 NIAA State Championship trophy, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams throughout Nevada and will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Top 10 Rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

Coming off of an impressive 2024 Season that saw them finish as the Class 2A Runners Up, forcing the "IF" game against a tough Needles team. This year, the Eagles are looking to complete the job with a talented roster coming back, lead by a pair of Arizona Christian University recruits in Cameron LaPres and Christian Marrs. These two seniors, along with Dominican Univerisity recruit - Hunter Zierleyn, who are all expected to make a significant impact on both sides of the ball. LMCA's top uncommitted prospects in Bowe Farmer and Cash Johnson are going to be staples in the heart of the lineup that we project to be key contributors. The Under the Radar Prospects submitted may not be Under the Radar much longer with Yeates, Dielman, Mount and Martell all projecting to get serious time this Spring and look to make their presence known on both the offensive side of the ball as well as in premier positions on the defensive side of the ball. 

As with almost all high school teams, some of the biggest different makers are the Underclassmen and you can expect Cooper Garret, Evan Hines and Cade Pisan to be early impact type players in the 2025 season. This group is primed for a big 2025 and will be one of the favorite to hoist the ultimate prize in May.
