2026 Class Rankings | Fall Update
December 4, 2024
Nevada's Junior Class has positioned itself with recent commitments (and more coming soon) to be one of the deepest Classes in recent years, lead by Top 10 Nationally Ranked prospect, Rookie Shepard, leading the way. This 2026 Class have proven to so much depth that in Prep Baseball Nevada's brief history, this is the first class to have 11 players make the Top 500 National Rankings list.
Now, we dive into these 2026 Rankings that saw minimal movement throuhgout, but did see a handful of players climb up not only the Top 10, but make their way up the Rankings outside the Top 10 as well as an expansion to a Top 75 prospects. This week we will continue to highlight the top prospect in the Silver State with the Ranking Risers as well as the Top 10 Uncommitted Prospects that are still on the board. Stay tuned as we continue to push our 2026 Class beyond this week to help each Uncommitted player find a college home as we approach the upcoming Spring Season.

Rookie Shepard SS / 2B / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 4 / POS: 3
Nevada's top ranked prospect has continued to solidify himself as not only the top propsect in the Silver State, but one of the top prospects in the country. Shepard had a massive sophomore Spring that he carried into the Prep Baseball ProCase - West and we project him to be one of the early favorites for Nevada's 2025 Prep Baseball Nevada Player of the Year.

Andruw Giles OF / LHP / Basic Academy, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 118 / POS: 21
Coming off of a massive summer that included standout performances at the 2024 Prep Baseball ProCase - West and the 2024 Future Games, Giles recently announced his commitment to Oregon. They future Duck comes in at #2 in the 2026 Class Rankings, holding strong to his previous rank as he primes for a big Spring with Basic.

Colton Christman LHP / OF / Arbor View, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 174 / POS: 19
After officially reclassing this Summer, Christmas hold strong at the #3 spot. The left-hander has proven himself to be one of the, if not the, top arm in Nevada's 2026 Class with much more still projected to come. Expect the 2026 to lead his Aggies on a deep run this upcoming Spring.

Troy Southisene OF / SS / Basic Academy of Int'l Studies HS, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 185 / POS: 27
The last of the Southisene Army enters his junior campaign as the #4 ranked prospect in Nevada's 2026 Class. Recently committing to the University of Southern California to join his brother Tee and Tate (#1 Ranked 2025), expect Troy to be a key piece of the Basic Wolves run to hoist the State Title in 2025.

Keenan Dolan RHP / OF / Bishop Manogue, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 275 / POS: 86
Their has been no higher riser in Nevada's 2026 Class over the last year than Bishop Manogue's Keenan Dolan. The 6'5 two-way is projected to be the next prospect to announce his commitment. Nevada's Game 1 starter of the 2024 Future Games, Dolan earned that honor coming off a breakout 2024 high school campaign and is expected to continue seeing his game trend in the coming months.

Kingston Kela 3B / 2B / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 362 / POS: 23
Fresh off of his commitment to TCU, Kela has proven time and time again as a high level prospect with each part of his game continuing to trend over the past year. A 2024 Prep Baseball ProCase - West attendee, the Faith Lutheran/GBG Vegas product will be a huge piece of the Faith Lutheran run to win the State Title this Spring.

Giovanni Guariglia Jr. RHP / 1B / Silverado, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 390 / POS: 122
No one has had a bigger 2024 than Gio Guariglia, rising from outside the Top 10 to #7 in the rankings and he does not seem to be slowing down as his fastball velo continue to trend. With one of the top performances at the Dodgers Elite Scout Day, the recent TCU commit will be one to watch as his velocity is projected to only continue climbing over the next few years.

Macen Collura SS / RHP / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 424 / POS: 97
The two-time Future Gamers and recent ASU commit comes off an excellent Summer that saw his game on full display on both sides of the ball. Collura is another significant piece of the Faith Lutheran lineup that we expect to be vital in the success of the Crusaders this upcoming season.

Lyndon Lee SS / 2B / Basic Academy, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 495 / POS: 117
As one of the first players in Nevada history to receive the Player of the Game Honors at the 2024 Future Games, Lee continued to prove himself as a legitimate "gamer" this Fall with the Dodger Elite Scout Team. Lee is a gritty prospect that will help teams win a tight game in a vital part of the season and we expect him to be another prospect that sees his name come off the board soon.

Chase Wilk 1B / OF / Bishop Gorman, NV / 2026Rankings OverallRank: 497 / POS: 14
Coming off of a standout performance at the 2024 Future Games where he showcased his ability stand tall against some of the top Uncommitted arms in the country, Wilk continued to prove himself as one of the top bats throuhgout the Summer with Wow Factor Nevada and into the Fall with Dodgers Elite. Expect the Bishop Gorman prospect to have his breakout Spring in 2025 as assert himself as one of the key contributors in their talented lineup.

The depth of talented in Nevada's 2026 Class is very real with a number of Division 1 Commits outside the Top 10.
