Idaho Top Unsigned Seniors: SS/RHP Joseph Wyatt Solosabal

With the 2023 Spring Season quickly approaching, Idaho still has a number of Uncommitted senior prospects remaining from the West Coast Games. In the Top Uncommitted feature we will be highlighting the top Uncommitted senior still on the board from the event.

Throughout the Preseason, we will continue highlighting players we see at both our Scout Days as well as at the Preseason ID's, where both Committed and Uncommitted players will have an opportunity to updated their PBR Player Profiles with their most up to date metrics collected by the PBR Staff using the top baseball technology in the game in TrackMan and Swift Performance.

We continue our Idaho Top Uncommitted feature with a look at another two-way prospect, shortstop and right-hander pitcher, Joseph Wyatt Solosabal, of Twin Falls High School. Solosabal stood out at the West Coast Games this summer with tools across the board and quality at-bats.

Body: 5-foot-11 , 185-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, slightly opened setup. Simple stride back to square. Compact swing. Some rotational features. Constantly finds the barrel. Balanced finish.
Power: Max TrackMan Exit Velocity - 90.8, Avg. TrackMan Exit Velocity - 77.6 mph.  
Arm: RH. IF - 78 mph. 
Defense: IF. Athletic defensive actions. Plays with some bounce. Ranges well laterally with feel for the forehand and backhand play. Sure handed. 
Run: 6.89 runner in the 60.
