The Nevada Athletics Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the Athletics program to highlight and promote players in their program.

The Nevada Athletics Scout Day is in the books, we now take a look at the top statistical performers from yesterday's event. The day started off with Uncommitted 2022 LHP/OF, Kaiden Smaka, posting a 6.78 Laser Timed 60, following it up with a clean bullpen with life on each of his three pitches. His backstop, Uncommitted 2022 C/UT, Alec Vincent, is a Swiss Amy Knife type player to posted multiple event bests including a 1.94 Pop Time, an 83 mph Outfield Velocity and a share of the top Raw Exit Velocity at 93 mph. 2023 two-way prospect, Kody Bialas had himself a day, starting with a line drive filled batting practice session that also showcased his power potential to the big part of the yard which he then followed up with an event best 87 mph Infield Velocity that he paired with athletic actions through the ball. As we said in the Program Spotlight, this is a deep group on both sides of the ball and is a team we expect to make a deep run this Spring.
