The Road to the Nevada State Games begins with the 2023 Nevada high school baseball season. With the season just around the corner, our staff has begun putting out team previews from all around the state, getting you prepared for another year of in-depth coverage. The depth of talent throughout the Silver State is impressively deep in each class, making for an exciting Spring that will culminate at the 2023 State Tournament in Reno, Nevada. 

We continue our PBR State Team Rankings that update weekly with teams earning their spot into the that weeks Top 10.

+ A dominate showing at the Boras Classic keeps the Gaels at the top spot and moving them up to the #3 spot in the PBR National Team Rankings.


RECORD: 10-0

+ The Wolves stay perfect behind Tennessee commit, Ty Southisene's red hot start at the plate, now hitting .679 through 10 games.


RECORD: 11-4

+ After standing tall at the Boras Classic, the Diamondbacks pulled out a massive win against #1 ranked Bishop Gorman behind a stellar outing on the mound from Seth Graham-Pippin.



+ The Crusaders have started to catch their stride winning 7 of their last 8 behind their senior arms.



+ The Huskies have steadily climbed up the rankings after an successful trip down to the Boras Classic where the stacked wins against some of the west regions top teams.


RECORD: 13-2

+ The Bulldogs have rattled off 10 straight behind excellent performances on the mound from CSN Signee, Logan Smith, and Uncommitted freshman LHP, Kane Barber.


RECORD: 5-1-1

+ The senior lead Spanish Springs group came out of the gates hot and looks to continue that start with four games slated this week against talented Northern Nevada groups.


RECORD: 10-3

+ The Patriots continue to make their way up the rankings after raising the championship trophy at the local Spring Break Tournament, winning 7 straight.


RECORD: 11-5

The Gators went through a gauntlet of a schedule last week facing the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the state, dropping both but looking to bounce back this week.



After a 2-3 start, the Miners have rattled off 7 straight to get back on track behind the senior leadership of Sam Kane, Cal Scolari, Joey Scolari and Connor Prahm.
