The USC commit comes from Big League bloodlines with his father, Dave Riske, being a 10+ year MLB veteran, you can easily see in his game that he plays with a high IQ and the grit needed to have success well beyond the high school level. Though Riske has the intangible features that are highly sought after, the present tools he possesses are among the best in the West Region with an easy upper 80's arm across the infield, up to 89 at the 2022 Future Games and a hit tool that has proven itself time and time again throughout his high school career and will continue to do so well beyond high school.
