The 2023 High School Season is quickly approaching and as usual, our staff is excited for the upcoming Spring season. Programs across the state have goals and aspirations to finish the year in to lift the State Championship trophy, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes a reality. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams and players across the state, as we preview many of the great programs throughout Idaho. We will take you right up to the first pitch of this season with these team previews and we'll continue providing coverage throughout the Spring.

+ Team Strengths:
Our team strength is definitely pitching and our senior class is strong. The pitching rotation potentially has 5 studs that can take the ball any day. We will be competitive every night because of our pitching.
+ Expectations for players within your program:
Robert Orloski is on a full ride to UTSA and was announced as a Preseason All-American in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. He is expected to have a big year on the mound and at the dish for us.
Treyton Swygart and Caden Recla both were named to the Elite Baseball Players in Idaho from that very same newspaper. Both hit over .450 last year for us. Caden is a phenomenal backstop that runs our defense while Treyton plays a pivotal role at 3B and was also named as an All-Conference pitcher last season.
Isaiah Anzaldua was also key for us during the season being named to the All-Conference team, as well. He is a major factor for us at the dish and playing defense up the middle.
+ Expectations for the 2023 Season:
Our expectation is to compete for a State Championship. Our players don’t miss optional workouts. The seniors on this team set a tone for us as we move into the 5A Class. We are excited about competing at the highest level of Idaho Baseball in the spring. We look forward to this very competitive league.
