Rising Stars of Northern Nevada: Quick Hits

The Rising Stars events have become our way of introducing the next classes entering their prep careers to the Prep Baseball Report family. With events set for both Southern and Northern Nevada that will allow players to get their PBR Player Profiles started with the objective data retrieved. From the Rising Stars events, we will be identifying to top players from each event to combine into Team Nevada to represent our state against the rest of the country at the 2022 Junior Future Games in Emerson, Georgia at our state-of-the-art LakePoint Facility. The Junior Future Games will run in conjunction with the Prep Baseball Report’s Future Games. The Future Games features the top Uncommitted High School players from across the Prep Baseball Report’s 40+ state coverage area. It is one of the most highly recruited events of the summer and attracts more than 300 college coaches from across the country each year.
The Rising Stars of Northern Nevada featured a talented roster of 65+ players in the 2026-2027 Classes from across Southern Nevada that proved the state of baseball in the Silver State is in good hands for years to come. At the event, we retrieved a significant amount of data on each player including: 60 Times measured by Swift Syncro, Batting Practice measured by TrackMan, Catch Pop Time and Velocity, Outfield Evaluation and Velocity, Infield Evaluation and Velocity and Pitcher Bullpens analyzed and assessed by TrackMan. We pride ourselves on utilizing the latest technology in the game to provide the most accurate data for both the player and those recruiting/evaluating the player.
Next, we highlight some of the top overall performances from the Rising Stars of Northern Nevada with the Quick Hits.

Landon Pahang SS / RHP / Spanish Springs , NV / 2026Pahang has the projectable frame with plenty of room to add size and strength that are going to only amplify his already advanced actions on both sides of the ball. The future Spanish Spring Cougar put together arguably the top overall day with a line drive filled batting practice round that he paired with fluid defensive actions that showed some lateral range with feel for the backhand play. This will be a player to follow closely over the next few years.

Jesse Isensee SS / RHP / Damonte Ranch, NV / 2026The two-way incoming freshman is going to be a player that could make an early impact next Spring at Damonte Ranch. He plays with bounce and has twitchy features in each part of his game that project to progress and parallel his physical development over the next few years. He showed off excellent barrel awareness during the batting practice session with some power potential on display, especially to the pull side.

Anthony Moses Alexander OF / RHP / Bishop Manogue, NV / 2026Alexander came into the event with high praise from a few different coaches in Norhtern Nevada and he didn’t disappoint as he showed well as both a position player and as a pitcher. His recent transition to being two-way is expected to be an excellent move as he threw arguably the top bullpen of the day with an athletic and somewhat polished delivery, showcasing his developing three pitch mix that showed better action when located down in the zone. His 7.14 Swift Performance verified 60 Time translated well on the defensive side where he showed his ability to get on line and through the ball.

Cinco Guillen SS / OF / Bishop Manouge , NV / 2027Guillen was one of the few left-handed bats at the Rising Stars of Northern Nevada and he got the offensive portion of the event started with an impressive batting practice session, living in the big part of the yard with his simple, compact stroke getting extended through the ball well. As a 2027, he’s got another year before he begins his high school career with projectable, athletic actions and much more to come as he continues to develop physically.
