As we kick off the 2021 Scout Day Season tomorrow at Faith Lutheran with the Las Vegas Dirtbags, I wanted to give some insight on what the Scout Days consist of and how we are taking it a step further this year with a team spotlight to highlight the current state of each program. These Scout Days are instrumental part of the Prep Baseball Report year with Spring Rankings Update and invites to future invite-only events such as the Nevada All-State Games and the 2021 PBR Future Games, PBR Nevada ProCase coming from the preseason Scout Days. Each of these event will allow for players from each participating program to update metrics on the PBR Player Profile for college and professional scouts to track development with video being taken of each rep and edited into a highlight video which is directly uploaded into each players profile following the event. Following the completion of each Scout Day, it will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website, which is subscribed to by more than 750 colleges. Event information including statistics and scouting reports will also be posted on the Prep Baseball Report’s website, at PrepBaseballReport.com.  

What a 2021 Scout Day Entails:

The morning of each Scout Day we will release a Program Spotlight with insight into the current state of the program, top players, player to know and expectations for the upcoming season.

• Stretch lead by Mark Jesse from Tim Soder Sports Performance
• Running Times (Laser Timed 60)
• Cage Work & Exit Velocity
• Round of Batting Practice
• Defensive Evaluations
  

- Pitchers & Catchers Evaluations

• Bullpen Sessions
• Catcher's Evaluations During Bullpen

Throughout the event, we will active in exposing standout performances with post event statistical standouts being promoted through the PBR Nevada Social Media platforms as well as on the PBR Nevada website.

Following the Scout Day, Players Will Receive:

• Updated and edit video uploaded to player profiles
• Updated metrics posted in player profiles
• Quick Hits report featuring the Scout Day Standouts
• Statistical Analysis of metrics collected with Top Performers being highlighted
• Consideration for future invite-only events including 2021 Future Games and PBR Nevada ProCase
