Team Nevada: Noah Wasano

Brett Harrison
Nevada Scouting Director

With the PBR Future Games exactly one month out, we are going to take a look at the prospects selected to represent Team Nevada. These are the best Uncommitted prospects that our state has to offer in the 2022 - 2023 classes and are expected to be some of the first prospects off the board. I am extremely excited about this years team with level of talent that will representing our state against the top Uncommitted players from around the country.

Noah WAsano - RHP

One of the highest risers following Scout Day Season earlier this year. Wasano is a 6'2, 192 pound right hander that was a relative unknown prior to the Coronado Scout Day where he featured a polished delivery with feel for each of his three pitches including a split change that showed late diving action and a breaking ball that worked well off of his fastball, coming from a repeated arm slot. Throughout his Scout Day bullpen, he showcased his ability to locate his pitches in the zone. This Under the Radar prospect will catch some attention representing Team Nevada at the Future Games next month.

The TrackMan + Blast Hitter Update is coming Tuesday, July 14 to ETA (Elite Training Academy) for hitters to update statistical categories on their PBR Profiles for players in the 2021-2024 classes.

THIS EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO 30 PROSPECTS

Prospects will receive multiple rounds of TrackMan + Blast Evaluated Swings (30+ Swings)

The Blast Motion system provides real time swing analysis that will be shared with players following the event to see what areas of their swings they excel as well as areas they may be deficient in to know where they can improve on for future events/competition.

The TrackMan system post contact date that allows prospects to immediately review the results of a batted ball, providing metrics such as Distance, Exit Velocity, Spin Rate, Launch Angle and much more.

These two systems combines produce an unrivaled amount of information at the prospects fingertips that they will be able to review sessions, track progress and compare themselves to see where they stack up against players in their class.

Data has become the ultimate separator of prospects over the past few years and this event will provide an opportunity to see where your metrics stand currently.
