Scouting Report

Neville, an Arizona recruit, established himself as one of the premium athletes in all of high school baseball with a stellar showing at the PBR Nevada Procase in front of more than 60 MLB scouts. At 6-foot-3, 190-pounds with broad shoulders and lean defined strength throughout, Neville has one of the more pristine and projectable frames in the class. A plus-athlete, there is five-tool potential with advanced speed and power potential. Checking all boxes, metrically, Neville posts a 6.58 60-yard dash time, 91 mph outfield velocity, and has been up as high as 104.1 mph with exit velocities. Add to that some stellar metrics via Blast, and the ability to drive the ball in the air with present pull side power, and scouts are sure to be following him closely moving forward. He has shown plenty of upside on the mound with a strong left arm although the bat and athleticism are sure to be coveted for now. What gives Neville the chance to rise much higher in the next year and a half is his innate ball-skills as a center fielder with a real chance to stick. At a premium position, his power and athleticism should more than entice professional scouts, and with more consistent barrels in-game, his ultimate landing in the top 10 (and higher) is easy to envision.
