TEAM SCORE TEAM SCORE
(#3) Palo Verde 11 The Meadows 2
After Palo jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, The Meadows answered back with two of their own in the bottom of the first. The Panthers answered back with 3 in the second and never looked back adding 7 more in the later innings behind big days at the plate from Clauss, Herrera and Dallimore.
(#5) Las Vegas 12 Rancho 7
A back and forth matchup as Rancho gave Las Vegas a fight behind big days at the plate from Ramos, Layman and Nelson. But the Wildcat bats were too much with multi-hit days from Vibubal, M. Martinez, McCown, Bull, D. Martinez and Romero, putting up 12 runs in a runaway win.
(#7) Bishop Manogue 12 Reed 5
A pair of big first innings where 7 total runs were put up, the Raiders always bring the fight with multi-hits days from Burns, Challacomb and Eaton. But, the Miners continued to add on seemingly each inning with 8 more runs put up in their 12 run effort with impressive days at the plate from Durst, Czyz, Lemieux and Cruz with Nevada recruit, Huntsman settling in after the 1st to give Manogue 5 inning where he struck out 8 along the way.
(#10) Foothill 2 Desert Oasis 8
A standout effort by West Coast Games attendee, Frye, kept the Foothill bats at bay as he went 6.0 complete, striking out 7 while allowing 0. The DO offense put pressure on the Falcons pitching staff/defense throughout and brought across 8 runs behind a big day at the plate from Berumen and a clutch homerun from Guillermo. The D-Backs bats look to be coming alive as of late and with this team, if the bats go, they will go.
