NEVADA - This season, we are excited roll out a new feature, the Prep Baseball Nevada Daily Round Up. This feature will include final scores and game notes from selected games going on throughout the state and will be updated daily to be your one stop shop for all things Nevada High School Baseball.

(#4) Palo Verde 9 (#1) Basic Academy 7
The Top 5 matchup produce, arguably, the top game of the week so far with back and forth scoring, until Palo Verde put up a 6 spot in the 4th with the help of back-to-back doubles from Jefferies and Dallimore, followed by a 2 run shot from Johns. Basic inched their way back with 2 runs in the 5th and a late rally to bring 4 in the bottom of the 7th before the Panthers shut the door to earn their 6th win of the season.
(#2) Faith Lutheran 9 Liberty 5
After the Crusaders started their year off in Texas, they returned home to take on a hot Liberty team. Faith Lutheran jumped out early and never looked back, scoring in each of the first 5 innings, including a 4 run 4th. The Patriots made a late push behind multi-hit days from Chavis and Maxwell, but FL's Air Force Signee, Watkins, was too much. The Crusader bats were alive with 10 hits registered that saw multi-hit games from NV's #1 '26, Shepard, ASU Signee, Collura, and Unsigned Senior, Swanson. 
(#3) Bishop Gorman 17 Shadow Ridge 2
The Gaels picked up right where they left off on Tuesday with another massive performance at the plate, lead by Kajioka, Young, Yatson and Artega, who all registered 2+ hits on the day, including Yatson's first homerun of the year. '26, Ramos, went 4 complete, allowing 2 earned to seal the W for Bishop Gorman, now 2-1 on the year. 
(#6) Las Vegas 5 (#10) Desert Oasis 2
Vegas jumped out early behind a steak of gritty at-bats from the heart of their lineup that saw 4 runs come across over the first three innings. That was all Unsigned Senior, Ponticello, needed, keeping the DO bats off balance over his 5.1 IP. Vibabul, Ponticello and D. Martinez each registered multiple hits on the day, including Martinez's solo homer in the 3rd. The Wildcats continue their hot start, now 5-0, while the D-Backs suffer their first loss of the season, now 6-1.
(#7) Reno 6 Galena 3
A pitchers duel over the first 4 innings between Unsigned Senior, G. Talonen, and standout '27, Jones, Reno broke it open with a 3 run 5th and 6th, with the help of UCLA Signee, Edwards, first HR of the year. Galena made a late push behind Cordell's multi-hit day, but '24 Future Gamer, Riley, came in to shut the door over the final two innings for the Huskies.

    Game Delayed Due to Darkness

    A pitchers duel between two Committed '25, Victoravich (Umpqua) and Straily (Arkansas Pine Bluff), the Cougars took the lead in the 3rd with back-to-back hits from Rodgers, Victorvich, putting Coronado up 2-0. The Falcons scratched a run across in the 4th, then Scow tied it up in the 6th with a clutch game tying homerun. In the 8th, Coronado put up 3 behind RBI singles from Moreno, Jones and Steffen. The game was postponed in the 8th due to darkness and will be picked up at a later date. 
    Legacy 9 Green Valley 5

    Game Delayed Due to Darkness

    The Longhorns jumped out early wit a run in the top of the 1st, but GV answered in the 3rd with a two-run homer from '26 two-way, McNelis, taking a 2-1 lead. After Legacy tied it up in the 4th, the Gators grinded out 3 more runs to take a 5-2 lead in the 4th. The Longhorns weren't finished at the rallied for a 7 spot in the top of the 7th with help of a hits racked up by the Lake brother and Stosich brothers, taking a commanding 9-5 lead before the game was postponed due to darkness.
