Reno Preseason ID: Pitcher Reports

RENO, NV - The Reno Preseason ID was held on Sunday, February 2nd at Bishop Manogue High School in Reno, NV. This event was an open event that consisted of prospects from the 2025-2028 classes to update their profiles with relevant data heading into the 2025 High School Season. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 60-Yard Dash using VALD Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Sunday morning.
We continue our post event coverage of the Reno Preseason ID with the Top Event Performances. The Prep Baseball Nevada Staff broke down the top overall showings of each area assessed during the event and with the help of the metrics collected and player projectability, we have ranked each areas Top Performers.

Emilio Alonso, Bishop Manogue (NV), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-10, 182-pounds.
Delivery: Works exclusively out of the stretch. Center rubber with shoulders scoped to the plate. Quick leg kick, landing on line. Works down the mound with balanced finish over his front side.
Arm Action: RH. Short, quick arm cycle. High 3/4 to over-the-top slot.

Blaine Bilderback, Douglas (NV), 2027
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 166-pounds.
Delivery: Athletic, quick paced delivery. Drop and drive type. Works down the mound with conviction. Maintains composure throuhgout. Balanced finish over his front side.
Arm Action: RH. Quick, compact arm cycle. 3/4 to high 3/4 slot. Repeats.
FB: T87, 85-86 mph. Commands in the zone. Natural life to the arm side. Easy velocity. T2294, 2237 average rpm.
SL: 73-76 mph. Tunnels well off FB. Works well off his FB. More spin to come. T2179, 2169 average rpm.
