TELL US MORE...

Tell us about your commitment. Why did you decide on your school?

I had a number of offers from various Division 1 schools, but landed on Umass Lowell for a couple of reasons. First off, I love Coach Harring and the staff. Coach made me feel incredibly valued and important to the program and gave off vibes that Umass Lowell Baseball is a place where you go and get better and make memories that last a lifetime. Next, the location was perfect, 6 hours from home, the ability to experience a new place but also be close enough to home to get back when I want to. Then, the facilities are beautiful, led by the 5,000 seat stadium.

The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:

Every single day I stretch in the morning and at night. I lift heavy weight two out of every three days, do mobility training two out of every three days, and do bodyweight/core workouts on the same days I lift heavy. In addition, I throw medballs twice a week and work on coordination/balance/explosiveness on some level every day. That is in addition to throwing, which I tailor completely to how my body feels, that dictates how often I throw and with what intensity.

Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. Who is your biggest influence in the game that has helped you handle the ups and downs?

My dad helps me work through adversity and so do my Coaches for travel and school ball. Coach Madrid, Coach Whelehan and Coach Mee.

Best player you ever shared the field with and why?

Gage Ziehl. Elite pitcher and hitter.

How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?

My experience with PBR was incredibly valuable and quite frankly, phenomenal. They are incredibly far reaching in their website and social media posts, but at the same time Uber-personalized and friendly and make you feel like more than just another body at a showcase. There’s nowhere else you should consider for a showcase.

Most memorable PBR event & why?

Future Games 2020. This is where I got to pitch in a beautiful stadium against amazing competition. Umass Lowell offered me from watching me at this event, so thank you PBR!
