Complete Analysis From Aug 13: Ontario Event

Dan Cevette
Director, New York

The Aug 13 Open I.D event in Ontario was great. The numbers were small but the talent was definitely big and I left impressed. Austin Shields really exploded onto the radar after the event. The 6-foot-5 215-pound RHP has electric stuff from the right side, and he's just learning how to pitch. He has only thrown 5 innings for his club ball team so what he desperately needs is some mound time. At our event he showed a serious next level arm touching 90 mph, with plus arm action and life on the ball and the ability to spin it.
