Class of 2021 Rankings Release

TOP 10 C / CLASS OF 2021

JOE MACK C / WILLIAMSVILLE EAST, NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
High end offensive skill set; has shown the ability to find the gaps since day one. Behind the dish the skills have grown from serviceable to above average. Has never left the #1 ranked position in the 2021 rankings. Despite some extremely talented RHP in his class, we expect him to remain there.

First Glimpse: Fall 2017 (PBR National Scouting Staff). Above average bat speed with present power.

Breakout Performance: Summer 2018.

The Future: The Clemson commit could most likely hear his named called on day one of the 2021 MLB draft, if not then, then shortly there after. The uncertainty of the 2020 draft (dates and amount of rounds) could have some affect on overall position as the college crop could be loaded. Either way, continue to expect to hear plenty on Mack in the net year.

DEREK BENDER C / ALBANY ACADEMY, NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Athletic frame at 6-foot-1 190 pounds. Slight upward lift through the zone with plenty of pop to the pull side.

First Glimpse: Campus Series - Albany (July 2017)

Breakout Performance: Northeast Pride Workout (June 2018)

The Future: The Coastal Carolina commit has shown a tremendous offensive side; we like the athleticism behind the plate as well. Look for him to continue to climb the ladder and possibly push into the national rankings.

JADEN DELAWDER C / FDR, NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Another athletic backstop who is an above average runner at the position (6.86-7.09). The LHH features a line drive approach with some pull side lift. Steady receiver who is very well schooled behind the dish.

First Glimpse: 2018 NYS Games (June 2018). Had some hitchy movements at the plate that have since smoothed over. Physical presence that stood out.

Breakout Performance: Preseason All-State - Hudson Valley (February 2019).

The Future: The Binghamton commit will continue to develop physically and with his overall game play. Athleticism could also allow for some corner OF development to keep his bat in play.

CHRISTOPHER BAILLARGEON C / XAVERIAN, NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Baillargeon features a quiet approach at the dish with a simple, compact approach that can yield big results. Strong efforts for Team Select at the 2019 Future Games.

First Glimpse: Diamond Nation Tournament (June 2019). Put on an impressive effort in front of PBR National Scouting Crosschecker Shooter Hunt.

Breakout Performance: 2019 NYS Games.

The Future: The uncommitted RHH from Staten Island is looking forward to big 2021 summer. Physical frame will continue to develop and will start show some increased power.
