Class of 2021 Rankings Release

Top 10 MIF / Class of 2021

Casey Saucke II SS / Greece Athena, NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Impressive athlete with an ease to his game. Athleticism could carry him over to the 3B or perhaps a corner OF position if he doesn't stick to SS. At the prep level he can also get it done on the mound working in the mid 80's with some polish to his secondary stuff.

First Glimpse: Preseason - West (February 2018). Announced himself with a presence working 83-85 MPH on the mound with some middle of the field juice at the plate.

Breakout Performance: 2018 NYS Games.

The Future: The Virginia commit coupled his 2018 NYS Games efforts with an outstanding offensive effort at the 2018 Future Games in Indiana. Coming off a strong campaign in 2019 we are still hoping to see him again during 2020.

Marcus Smith SS / All Hallows , NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Versatile athlete who can handle both sides of the bag and has dabbled with some OF play as well. Above average hands with accurate arm. May push to 2B of CF/LF at the collegiate level. His bat and athleticism will find a way to stay on the field.

First Glimpse: Preseason - Downstate (February 2018). Ran a 7.00 60 and recorded an 87 MPH exit velocity that played well during BP. Actions and ranged pointed to a next level MIF immediately.

Breakout Performance: Preseason - Downstate (February 2019)

The Future: The Liberty commit had a strong effort at the 2019 Future Games in Georgia, including a 3-run opposite field HR vs. a tough New Jersey arm. Hands showed well all week. Premium athlete.

Reynaldo Angeles SS / Benjamin Cardozo , NY / 2021

Quick Hit:
Fast twitch, dynamic athlete who can make the play on the move and also offer up some projection on the mound.

First Glimpse: Big Apple Preview (October 2017). One of the youngest players in attendance at the time. Showed easy efforts in the box and gliding actions up the middle.
