SCOUTING REPORT
6-foot-0, 168-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.43 – 60, slightly faster than his previous timed 60 of 7.79 set in February 2017. Offensively- RHH sets up square to the pitcher with a wide stance showing little movement prior to pitch. Uses a solid trigger to get set for the pitch with quick hands to the zone showing an upward lift barrel path. Swing is clean and fluid demonstrating gap to gap potential. Recorded an exit velocity of 89 MPH, a 3 MPH improvement from a posted 86 MPH set in June of 2017. Defensively- Shows aggressive footwork to the baseball but could cut down steps needed to transition to crow hop. Shows an appropriate outfielder arm swing with a live arm. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 84 MPH, a 5 MPH improvement from his posted mark of 79 MPH set in June 2017. Pitching- Sets up in the middle of the rubber with fluid mechanics and a quick delivery. Shows good separation with body control down the mound setting himself up in a good throwing position upon foot strike. Utilizes a mid-3/4 arm slot with repeatable mechanics from the windup and stretch. Fastball was 80-82 MPH and peaked at 83 MPH showing arm side run. Change up was 70-72 MPH with  arm side sink. Curveball was 65-66 MPH showing sharp 12/6 action.

WHAT DID WE SEE?
"Marc was going through a bit of a lull where it may have appeared that he had peaked in some statistical areas and then he turns in an ultra-aggressive performance on November 18th with explosive swings, aggressive outfield play and some new found arm speed during his bullpens showing off one of his better breaking balls to date. An infielder by trade he's adapted well to the outfield in the past year and continues to develop on the mound. One of the most difficult things to do in all of sports is to plow through a plateau (or a sticking point)...and Stockhausen showed us just that. Can't wait to see more next spring. "
