Entire Event Roster

Today we highlight our catchers and corner infielders; let's take a look:

Catchers

Nicholas Winslow C / 1B / Saratoga Central Catholic, NY / 2020

On the rise catcher who had a solid showing this past August at the Future Games in Indiana. Flashes some pop to his pull side; consistently accurate throwing arm with pop times that hover over/under the 2.0 mark.

Jeffrey Swift C / RHP / Shenendehowa, NY / 2020

Attended our Campus Series at St. Rose back in early July; left-handed hitter with a flat barrel path through the zone; throws hold their carry in the 2.11-2.16 range. Looking forward to seeing Swift once again.

Jacek Strain C / Shenendehowa, NY / 2021

5-foot-10 155 pound right-handed hitting catcher who is part of two very strong programs in Shenendehowa HS and the South Troy Dodgers.

Bennett Cohen RHP / C / CBA-Albany , NY / 2022

6-foot-4 180 pound catcher who swings it from the right side. Also a member of the NY Storm.

First basemen

Carter Romansky 1B / Voorheesville, NY / 2019

Lefthanded hitter who attended our Campus Series - St. Rose event. Showed some lift to the pull side gap. Adequate defender around the bag; hands work out in front.

Patrick DeFeciani 1B / LHP / Clarkstown North, NY / 2019

6-foot-1 185 pound left-handed hitting 1B and LHP. Explodes into the zone with some lift. Worked in the 77-79 MPH range on the mound this summer at two events; 12-6 CB with a large separation at 58-60 MPH.

Brian Tietjen 1B / 3B / Guilderland, NY / 2020

Solid 6-foot-0 230 pounds with and aggressive yet balanced approach at the plate; swings it with authority (88 MPH exit velo). Active feet defensively, moves well around the bag. Has worked out at both 1B and 3B but projects better at 1B.

Josh Russo 1B / RHP / Ward Melville , NY / 2021

Massive frame for his age at 6-foot-3 260 pounds; natural strength in his swing. Looking forward to seeing his progress as a position player. Showed some feel in February working 74-77 MPH with a down angle off the mound.

Third Basemen

Christian Brennan 3B / RHP / La Salle Institute , NY / 2019

One of the top uncomitted 2019's at the event. This past summer at Marist he showed a leaner frame, improved agility and solid arm from 3B. Has flashed some pull side pop at past events. Works in the 79 -81 MPH range on the mound with more room for velocity gains.

Jack Sylvia RHP / 3B / Queensbury, NY / 2019

Solid all-around athlete that pitched his way to a state championship. Solid left side defender, first look in a showcase setting.

Sean Scanlon 3B / RHP / Fordham Prep, NY / 2020

Like Winslow, another Future Games attendee (Team Select); flat path stroke from the left side with a suitable arm from 3B (82 MPH across the diamond). On the mound he's routinely been in the 83-85 MPH range, touching 86 at the Future Games back in August.

Jason Sebastiano 3B / RHP / St. Edmunds Prep, NY / 2020

Easy, repetitive stroke at the plate; clean defensive actions at 3B with and accurate arm. 2B/3B long term projection. Looking forward to seeing his progress.

Christian Brown 3B / SS / Troy , NY / 2021

Burst on the scene at our Campus Series-Marist event back in July showing some juice to his pull side. Physical 6-foot-225 pound frame with agile footwork at the hot corner. Player to watch over the next few years.

David Bernard Jr 3B / RHP / Schenectady , NY / 2022

Another big, strong frame for the Capital Region. Bernard attended two events this past summer and put together solid efforts as a 2022 grad. Has worked in the upper 70's on the mound with a long and loose arm action. Game experience and increased confidence will turn him into a big time player on both sides of the ball.
