On Deck Preview: Eastern NY All-Star Game (Outfielders)

Our 2018 Fall All-Star Games are ready to kick off this weekend as we head to Central Park's "A" diamond in Schenectady, NY. The morning session will kick off at 9am (8:15am check-in) with a traditional showcase until 10:30am. A live scrimmage game will run roughly from 10:30am-12:30pm.
The afternoon session will a 12:45 start (12noon check-in) with the showcase running to about 2pm. Structured scrimmage will run roughly 2:15-4pm.
Today we highlight our outfielders, let's take a look:

Christopher Martin OF / 2B / Colonie , NY / 2020Wiry 5-foot-11 frame; the LHH showed a compact line drive stroke back in July at our Campus Series - St. Rose event. Accurate arm from the outfield.

Michael Andretta OF / 2B / Albertus Magnus, NY / 2019Earned himself a write up last fall at the Rockland County HS workout at Nyack. Easy arm from the OF and can also handle up the middle.5-foot-10 152 left-handed hitter.

Patrick McGuire OF / LHP / Shenendehowa, NY / 20205-foot-11 145 pound left-handed hitter who also plays for the Frozen Ropes Outlaws. First time attendee.

Jack Reisler OF / LHP / The Packer Collegiate Institute, NY / 2020Another left-handed hitting outfielder who displays a quiet, balanced stroke; fundamental setup in the outfield with a long and loose arm action.

Coltrane Calloway OF / RHP / Bay Shore, NY / 2021Rankings StateRank: 12 / POS: 2
One of our top ranked 2021 outfielders; shows some lift in his swing from the left side. The 6-foot-0 155 pounder shows a solid arm for his age at 82 MPH from the outfield and up to 79 on the mound back in February. Excited to see him again.

Top ranked outfielder in the 2021 class ran the 5th fastest 60 at the Future Games this past August in Indiana; strong arm at 84 MPH from the OF with above average bat speed at the plate. Will be a big time extra base/stolen base threat with continued game experience.

Balanced approach at the plate form the right side with gap potential; our last look at Contois was back in February so we are excited to see his progress.
