Our Western New York All-Star Games at Brockport will be held this Sunday September 24, 2017, featuring 65 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the first baseman that will be in attendance and what to expect:

Western NY All-Star Games / First Base

Grant Rodriguez 1B / OF / Rush-Henrietta , NY / 2019

Tremendous offensive talent; strong 6-foot-0 180 pound frame. Solid defender at 1B, quick on the turn to second base and the glove works well out in front.

Josh Van Bramer 1B / LHP / Fairport, NY / 2019

Got a good look at Van Bramer throughout the summer. Balanced, line drive stroke from the 6-foot-0 175 pound 1B. Above average defender at 1B, moves well laterally and has the arm strength to kick start the front end of a double play.

Adam Wojciechowski C / RHP / West Seneca East, NY / 2019

First base is more of Wojciechowski's 3rd position but at 6-foot-4 180 pounds and his offensive capabilities, he will start to see some time here in the future as well. Good all-around athlete.

Andrew Bernacki RHP / 1B / Pittsford Mendon, NY / 2020

Promising dual player at 5-foot-9 165 pounds. Above average exit velocity at 88 MPH. Aggressive defender, gets of the bag quickly and moves well laterally. Possible 3B candidate in his future as his arm works as well.

Will Hearn LHP / 1B / St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute , NY / 2019

First time attendee with an impressive 6-foot-4 185 pound frame. The lefty will also see time on the mound.

Ryan Stowell 1B / LHP / Elmira , NY / 2019

Open setup at the plate with some zone acceleration for the 6-foot-0 195 pound dual player.

Michael Geiss RHP / 1B / CBA-Syracuse, NY / 2019

Athletic 6-foot-1 180 pounder with aggressive actions at the plate and defensively. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Andrew Treviso 1B / RHP / Fairport, NY / 2019

Another on the rise dual player with some whip through the zone. Will also see time on the mound Sunday.
