William Frank, RHP, St. Joseph's Collegiate Inst. NY (2016)
Frank stands 5-foot-11, 180-pounds with the frame to hold more size. On the mound he stays over the rubber on his knee lift, tucked and in a power position. His arm action is straight out by shortstop very short and quick from a mid 3/4-slot. Fastball has action to it running down and away at 80-82 mph, very deceptive, needs to finish more over his front knee. His curveball was 67-68 mph with sharp 10/5 shape, from his arm angle its a very strong pitch.

Analysis:
Frank has a chance to be pretty good. His works from a mid-low 3/4 arm-slot, has tilt with his wrist giving his fastball natural arm-side tail jamming up right-hand batters. He's got workable size, sound mechanics, and signs of mid-upper 80's arm strength once he puts all the pieces together. His curveball, thrown from same arm-slot has devastating late action, swing and miss pitch. Frank's tools have earned him an invite to our All-State Preseason event Feb. 15th at Oswego State.
