Allen Murphy SS (Bolivar Richburg HS, NY 2016)
Murphy stands 5-foot-9 145-pounds with a small athletic body. With the bat he swings from the left side with a balanced setup. Short left lift for timing and gets through the ball well. His bat path is level through the zone with a high finish. His exit velocity was 70 mph. In the field he gets around the baseball with a clean quick transfer at 75 mph. Shows quick footwork getting to the ball. He ran a 4.45 home to first.

Analysis:
Murphy plays quick and fields the ball out in front of his body with a quick clean release. He's young and if he focuses on his arm strength and wrist strength he will see increases in velocity both arm and bat speed. He swings from the left side and runs pretty well out of the box. Allen will be at our NYS Top Prospect Games Aug 16th.
